A five minute drive by road or a liesurely half hour walk
through riverside parkland from Kumbartcho
The Queensland Congregational Union opened the Greenwood War Memorial Conference Centre in 1963 to honour Congregationalists who had lost their lives in WWI and WWII.
The site was acquired in 2007 by the then Pine Rivers Shire Council who re-furbished and re-opened it in 2010.
It is now operated by Kumbartcho Volunteers in partnership with Moreton Bay Regional Council.
The Centre is available for hire 7 days per week for workshops, conferences, weddings and other private functions.
Contact the Functions Coordinator on (07) 3325 3492 to book the venue or for more information.
* Yuraba is a local aboriginal word meaning "Place of Spotted Gums" (John Bowden).
