Education Program
Schools are invited to send their students Prep-Year 7 to Kumbartcho as part of our Environmental Education Program for 2010. All modules are interactive and satisfy core components of the Education Queensland Curriculum.
Backyards for Wildlife
Backyards for Wildlife is a regional program that supports and recognises the efforts of owners of smaller bushland blocks to preserve local wildlife habitat and link wildlife corridors in the urban environment.
Living with the Environment
The Moreton Bay Living with the Environment activities provide opportunities for members of the public to enjoy a broad range of environmental learning experiences. These are designed to enhance and widen knowledge and appreciation of our rich natural heritage. Activities include workshops, tours, site visits, lectures and hands-on presentations that are fun, informative and skill enhancing.
These are provided at low cost or for free. Our aim is to encourage people to know and love their country, its native plants and animals, landscapes and natural history. Children are welcome to attend suitable activities but MUST be appropriately supervised by parents or guardians.
Early bookings are essential - places are limited and the activities are usually very popular.
Phone (07) 3205 0555 to reserve your place Payment deadlines will be strictly adhered to. If you find you are unable to attend an activity, please advise us as soon as possible.
