Bunya Park Wildlife Sanctuary is now known as Kumbartcho (the
aboriginal word for Hoop Pine) Sanctuary due to it being confused with
other similarly named venues and is managed for council by a Community
Management Committee. Our future plans for Kumbartcho Sanctuary include
development of a school education program, recreational walks and completion
of the Kumbartcho Sanctuary Environmental Education Center
