The Bunya Sanctuary Community Environmental Center as it was formally
known was opened on wednesday the 14th of July 1999 by Mayor Yvonne
Chapman. Inside it houses environmental education tools such as
local creek simulations using fish tanks and native aquatic animals,
posters and brochures on local environmental issues, a conference
area and kitchen facilities.
These are pictures of some of the educational material available,
but the Center is still incomplete and we hope to have bigger and
better tools on offer as soon as possible.
